"Let’s Move" is Michelle Obama's push to help children be more active and eat healthy to fight obesity. The American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) ‘Let’s Move in School’ is a public awareness and action initiative targeted at physical education teachers, parents, principals, superintendents, and school boards with the goal of ensuring that every school provides a comprehensive school physical activity program-- with quality physical education as the foundation “so that youth will develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to be physically active for a lifetime.
