If two heads are better than one, Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart programs across Kansas are set for dramatic growth. More than a dozen experienced coordinators have launched a new Mentor Program. Teachers and school administrators across the state need simply contact a Mentor for ideas on starting or improving a JRFH / HFH program. Mentors are experienced and willing to share their expertise.
KAHPERD members are encouraged to participate in the JRFH / HFH programs. In addition to assisting with the American Heart Association’s campaign, 5% of the funds generated through Kansas events returns to Kansas to support KAHPERD activities. JRFH /HFH events also provide excellent community service opportunities for K-12 students.
